Damifiknow!/Memphis Experience. Compiled on this compact disc are the two final albums by the Mar-Keys, the Memphis band that burst on the scene in 1961 with "Last Night." The first, 1969’s Damifiknow!, features the classic Mar-Keys lineup of Booker T. & the MGs plus the Memphis Horns.
The Mar-Keys, originally known as the Royal Spades, had a Top Ten hit with their first disc, 'Last Night' (Satellite), written and arranged by Chips Moman, in 1961. Othei, smaller, hits included 'Morning After', Popeye Stroll' and, in 1966, 'Philly Dog'.
