17 de feb. de 2023 · Capturing minimalism is no easy task. The slightest tweaks can render a Van Pelt song either dynamic or dull. We felt safe in Jeff’s hands. This session was wild. Neil O’Brien, Sean Greene, and I recorded in person while Brian Maryansky sent us his guitar and synth tracks from Salem, Massachusetts.
Brian Maryansky and Sean Greene would join late 96 for writing, recording of and Sultans Of Sentiment in 1997. "Sultans" & "Thieves" were released by Gern Blandsten records. Greene would soon leave the band and Toko Yasuda returned to tour and record the Speeding Train ep on Art Monk Construction Records.
