  2. The Visual Arts Program is interdisciplinary and offers an MFA degree in Visual Arts rather than in one specific medium. The two-year studio program, taught by internationally celebrated artists, allows students to pursue moving image, new genres, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

  6. All MFA degree programs at the School of the Arts require completion of at least two consecutive years of full-time study. Certain programs and/or concentrations may allow further semesters of study. See “Research Arts” below for more information.

  7. MFA Film Curriculum. Students are admitted to the MFA program in one of three tracks: Creative Producing, Screen and TV Writing/Directing, and Writing for Film & Television. Students in all tracks share a common curriculum in their first year in the program.
