Back Door biography. British jazz-rock trio founded in 1971 by Colin Hodgkinson (bass) , Ron Aspery (sax) and Tony Hicks (dr). Still in 1969 Colin Hodgkinson and Ron Aspery both played in Eric Delaney's band on summer season at the Winter Gardens in Bournemouth.
