Sax player Tim Burton, aka “Johnny Vegas” was a real presence, as was trombone player Dennis Brockenborough, whose backing vocals were key to the band’s live sound. Sax player Kevin Lenear was super cool.
The Bosstones signed to Mercury Records in 1993 after a lineup change that included drummer Joe Sirois, saxophone Kevin Lenear, and trombone Dennis Brockenborough, with Bridewell and Dalsimer departing. They had their first commercial success in 1995, when they were cast in the film Clueless.
