McDonald and Giles is an album released by British musicians Ian McDonald and Michael Giles in 1970. The album was first issued on Island Records (ILPS 9126) in the UK and Cotillion Records (SD 9042), a division of Atlantic Records, in the US.

The duo consisted of multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald and drummer–percussionist Michael Giles, who commenced the project fresh off their one-album stint in King Crimson.
Released in November 1970, ‘McDonald And Giles’ is very much a studio-orientated affair that could never be replicated live, but one that’s still revered by King Crimson fans and is seen as a gem of the progressive rock era.
