Years active. 1976–present. Elliot Easton (born Elliot Steinberg, [1] December 18, 1953) [2] is an American musician who is best known as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the American new wave band the Cars. His melodic guitar solos are an integral part of the band's music.
Slocum's first album entitled Somewhere Under Heaven, produced by Keith Olsen and himself, was recorded and mixed at "Goodnight L.A" studios. The CD has been considered more pop leaning than his later works, which are more decidedly Contemporary Christian .

Somewhere Under Heaven. " Somewhere Under Heaven " is a song recorded by Tom Petty during the Wildflowers studio sessions in 1992. It was released in 2015 as promotion for a multi-disc Wildflowers re-release titled Wildflowers & All the Rest, [2] which was previously shelved and then released in 2020. The song was featured in the film Entourage.
