Thornleigh Salesian College is a non-selective, Roman Catholic secondary school maintained by the local authority ( Bolton ). It has about 1,590 boys and girls aged between 11 and 18. In November 2019 the school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Particular strengths include Attendance, Attainment, Sixth form and Progress.
