Theresa Thornycroft (1853 – July 1947) was an English sculptor and painter. Biography. Born Theresa Georgina Thornycroft, she was a member of the inventive and artistic branch of the Thornycroft family.

Sculptor, the daughter of the sculptor John Francis (1780-1861), in 1840 she married Thomas Thornycroft (q.v.) a pupil of her father. She worked extensively for the royal family, perhaps best known are her busts of Queen Victoria and Albert's children, and she taught Princess Louise to sculpt.
