3 de ago. de 2020 · There's a very good chance that if you grew up in the Eighties, you were pretty familiar with the New Wave bands The Fixx and The Teardrop Explodes. The bassist in both of those bands was a young guy, Alfie Agius. From what I have read he largely played a fretless bass.

Barrett was replaced on bass by Alfie Agius for the Shuttered Room tour. Agius' stay in the band was short-lived, though, as he left during the 1983 recording of their next album Reach the Beach , after having recorded four tracks.

17 de nov. de 2021 · Their regular bass player Alfie Agius quit before the album was complete and then they brought in Dan Brown but he wasn’t made a full fledge member until after the Tour I believe. Oh yeah, that Dan Brown is not the writer Dan Brown of ‘The Da Vinci Code’.
