Beijing Jingshan School (Chinese: 北京景山学校; pinyin: Běijīng Jǐngshān Xuéxiào) is a high school and elementary school, located on Dengshikou road in Beijing, China. Beijing Jingshan School was founded in 1960, and is the connection center for the Asian New Education Plan of UNESCO.
In September 1983, Deng Xiaoping gave the Beijing Jingshan School the inscription, “Education should be oriented towards modernization, the world, and the future,” which defined the strategic policy of reform and opening-up in the education field.
Jingshan Park. Located on the center of the north-south central axis of Beijing, Jingshan Park was the imperial garden in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and once the highest point of central Beijing.
