27 de abr. de 2024 · 天津市南开中学 ，曾名 私立敬业中学堂 、 私立南开中学堂 、 天津市第十五中学 等，于1904年由 严修 、 张伯苓 创办，是 南开系列学校 的发源地。 1978年被 教育部 确定为全国重点中学，现为 天津市教育委员会 直属 重点中学 、国家级 示范性高中 ，1996年被 国务院 确定为国家重点文物保护单位 [1] [2] 。 校史 [ 编辑] 严馆时代 [ 编辑] 1895年，中国在 甲午战争 中的失败，带来了空前的民族危机，“教育救国”思潮兴起。 严修、张伯苓等知识分子认识到发展新式教育的重要性，认为“中国自强之道，端在教育，创办新教育，造就新人才”，只有通过教育的革新才能改变国家日渐衰败的命运 [3] [4] 。
