31 de jul. de 2019 · On January 28, 1997, Pat Boone released “In a Metal Mood: No More Mr. Nice Guy” which features his covers of hard rock and heavy metal classics. Boone even brought in other iconic musicians like Ronnie James Dio, Ritchie Blackmore, and Dweezil Zappa.
First off, the liner notes are terrific and feature a long essay in which Pat describes his motives for recording this album and the song selections. He made excellent choices in which songs to cover and managed to get some of metal’s greats to perform on the album with him.
