Good overview of a scene, a city, a time, and the artists that briefly defined it. At the same time, while it covers a wide range, it's not all that deep, touching on a lot of subjects that it can only breeze through, but it's trying to do a lot, and it works as an overall look at why and how some young men made art in a hostile environment and got people to pay attention to them.
