Gregory Russell Paulus (born July 3, 1986) is an American basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Niagara Purple Eagles men's basketball team. He previously served as an assistant basketball coach for Louisville , Ohio State and George Washington University .
Becoming the first head coach of Niagara men’s basketball to earn back-to-back first round byes in the MAAC Championship since 2008-2009, including the programs first MAAC semifinals appearance in eight seasons in 2021. Paulus became the 23rd head coach of Niagara Basketball on Nov. 7, 2019.
