Marie Fillunger (27 January 1850 – 23 December 1930) was an Austrian singer, and the longtime partner of Eugenie Schumann, who was a daughter of Robert and Clara Schumann.

Before finishing her studies in Berlin, Fraul Fillunger sang in North Germany, Holland and Switzerland, mostly in oratorio. She made her first London appearance in 1889 at a popular concert, where her rendering of Schubert's songs won much praise.
After the death of Marie, Eugenie had also to deal with the death of Marie Fillunger. She sold the until today preserved „Chalet Schumann“. Marie was burried at the cemetery Gsteig. In the same grave also Marie Fillunger and Eugenie Schumann found their eternal peace. Cp.
Eugenie, who lived with Marie Fillunger in Matten, close by the Chalet of her sister Marie in Interlaken, let her friend be buried in the same grave in Gsteig as her sister, who died one year earlier. Also Eugenie found her eternal peace in the same grave after her death in November 1938.
Marie Fillunger gave many performances with the young Donald Tovey at his concerts in London and Windsor before he came to Edinburgh. Performed regularly with the Hallé Orchestra at their Thursday concerts in Manchester between Nov 1891 and Feb 1895 (8 occasions)
