Julian "Jules" De Martino (born 1969 in London) began playing drums at age 13. He studied fine art at Loughton College in Essex and signed a minor publishing deal with Morrison Leahy Music (who also publish George Michael). He formed a band, Mojo Pin, which was influenced by artist Jeff Buckley.
