- Our History
The Piven Theatre Workshop is located in Evanston, Illinois and was founded by Joyce and Byrne Piven. For over 30 years, it has existed both as a professional theatre company and a training center for children and adults.
Join Piven for a fun, creative, supportive theatre experience and the opportunity to make new friends! Students spend their mornings learning Piven theatre games & improvisation and how they can be applied to bring creativity and excitement to the stage by our enthusiastic teaching artists.
