Deepak Pandya (6 December 1932 - 4 October 2020 [1]) was a neuroanatomist who is best known for his contributions to the understanding of cortical and subcortical brain connectivity in the macaque using tract-tracing methods. He is the father of NASA astronaut Sunita Williams .

6 de oct. de 2020 · Dr Deepak Pandya. AHMEDABAD: The NASA astronaut Sunita Williams ’ father, Dr Deepak Pandya passed away near Boston in USA at an age of 88 on Sunday. He was survived by his wife and three children including Williams. Pandya was a neuroanatomist and known for his contributions in his subject.
