Apocalypse is the Mahavishnu Orchestra's fourth album and third studio album, released in 1974. It is performed by the second line-up of the Mahavishnu Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. It was produced by George Martin, who regarded it as "one of the best records [he had] ever made".

This one is surely the most symphonic MO album, and not only because it features The London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas. Two of the five tracks are long (14 and 19 minutes) and only one under 6 minutes, and none has dull moments.
