Keio Futsubu is a private junior high school, providing an education for boys from 12 years old to 15. It was opened in 1898, although the original six-year course was named Futsubu by the founder FUKUZAWA Yukichi (10 January 1835 – 3 February 1901) when Keio started tertiary education in 1890.

Keio Futsubu School has been in operation since the inception of the Keio educational corporation in the 19th century. Having adapted to numerous reforms in the Japanese educational system over the years, the school has emerged as a well-established leader in lower secondary education.
慶應義塾普通部 （けいおうぎじゅく ふつうぶ、 英: Keio Futsubu School ）は、 神奈川県 横浜市 港北区 日吉本町 一丁目にある 私立 男子 中学校 。 慶應義塾 の 小中高大一貫教育 を構成する一貫教育校の一つ [1] 。 慶應義塾において中等教育を行う一貫教育校としては、ほかに男女共学の 慶應義塾中等部 と 慶應義塾湘南藤沢中等部 が設けられており、普通部は唯一の男子校で最も古い中学校である [1] 。 普通部における「普通」とは、「普（あまね）く、通ずる」ような学びを意味しているとされている [2] 。
Club activity time for students. Junior High School: 18:00 for summer time 17:30 for winter time. Senior High School: 18:30 for summer time 18:00 for winter time. Summer time: March 1-October 30. Winter time: November 1-last day of February. On Mondays, the time for leaving school is an hour earlier than on weekdays and Saturdays.
