17 de oct. de 1990 · Also released late in 1992 was singer-songwriter Shawn Colvin's album FAT CITY produced by Larry Klein. This album is noteworthy here as it was mostly recorded in The Kiva, a studio in Joni and Larry's Bel Air house -the same studio where Joni recorded her albums.
That's an impressive resume for someone who is only just now releasing her second album, Fat City. Colvin, 35, will be performing tunes from it and her Grammy-winning 1989 debut, Steady On, when she performs Tuesday at X-Ray 's/Ultrasound.
In 1985, she was the first woman to draw a full issue of Wonder Woman, and a full run on a Wonder Woman series, after four decades of male hegemony. The first verse of Joni’s song “Ladies of the Canyon,” is a portrait of Ms. Robbins: And filigree on leaf and vine. Trina answered a few questions about the song for the website in 2008.
