He grew up with American jazz and classical music in the house because his uncle played guitar, lived next door, and visited frequently. Lubambo tried classical piano for two years but quit.

  5. Arto Lindsay started a new urban sound with the album previous to this one, O corpo sutil (The Subtle Body). He uses the experience from the noise, Jazz and No Wave experiments in New York during the 80s and from his work in the group Ambitious Lovers, and introduces Brazilian influences, which are the central ingredient of the new sound.
