The Magic Sam Legacy is a compilation of unreleased tracks by the American blues musician Magic Sam, recorded in Chicago between 1966 and 1968, that was released by the Delmark label in 1989.
Magic Sam with Shakey Jake, Eddie Shaw, Mighty Joe Young, Odie Payne etc. This album consists entirely of previously unissued material. Tracks A6, B1, B2, B6 are alternate takes of those on DS-615 and DS-620 respectively.

Eddie Shaw (March 20, 1937 – January 29, 2018) was an American Chicago blues tenor saxophonist, arranger and bandleader. He led Howlin' Wolf's band, the Wolf Gang, from 1972, both before Wolf's death in 1976 and subsequently.
Before Magic Sam scored with 1967’s West Side Soul (Delmark 615) his recorded legacy included a handful of sides for Cobra in the late `50s, Chief in the early `60s and a few miscellaneous 45s in the mid-`60s.
