Immanuel Hermann Fichte (/ ˈ f ɪ k t ə /; German:; ennobled as Immanuel Hermann von Fichte in 1863; 18 July 1796 – 8 August 1879) was a German philosopher and son of Johann Gottlieb Fichte. In his philosophy, he was a theist and strongly opposed to the Hegelian School .

(Jena, 1796-Stuttgart, 1879) Filósofo alemán. Hijo de Johann Gottlieb. Fue instructor en las universidades de Bonn (1840) y de Tubinga (1842). Siguió a Hegel y a su padre (a quien se opuso en varios puntos y cuyas Obras terminadas y Vida y correo publicó en 1845-1846 y en 1862) y fundamentó su filosofía en la conciencia de sí.
