Head-Royce School (Head-Royce or HRS) is a private co-educational college-preparatory K-12 school in Oakland, California. The forerunner of Head-Royce was the Anna Head School for Girls in Berkeley, founded in 1887.

The Lower School art program places children at the center of their art-making choices. Students in 1st through 5th grade experience art through the TAB or “Teaching for Artistic Behavior” approach where emphasis is placed on creating artists beyond art products.
