Grace Elvina Curzon, Marchioness Curzon of Kedleston, GBE (née Hinds, formerly Duggan; 14 April 1879 – 29 June 1958) was an American-born British marchioness and the second wife of George Curzon, former Viceroy of India.
29 de oct. de 2023 · Elected to the House of Lords in 1908, Curzon was active in his opposition to Liberal policies and in 1912 became president of The National League for Opposing Women's Suffrage. He remarried in 1917, to the wealthy Alabaman Grace Elvina Hinds.
Born Cynthia Blanche Curzon at Kedleston Hall, she was the second daughter of Hon. George Curzon (later Marquess Curzon of Kedleston) and his first wife, Mary Victoria Leiter, an American department-store heiress.
