Ethel Barrymore was a stage and film actress, the daughter of Maurice Barrymore and Georgiana Drew. She won an Oscar for her role in None But the Lonely Heart and was the aunt of Drew Barrymore.
Georgiana Drew was the daughter of John Drew and Louisa Lane Drew, both distinguished actors, and the younger sister of John Drew, Jr., later also a great star. She made her theatrical debut in 1872 in The Ladies’ Rattle at Philadelphia’s Arch Street Theatre, under her mother’s management.
