John Bloom (8 November 1931 – 3 March 2019) was a British entrepreneur, best known for his role in the "Washing Machine Wars" of 1962–64 when he drastically reduced prices by direct sales that cut out the retailers.
Career. Standing at 7 ft 4 in (2.24 m) tall, he is most famous for his roles as the Frankenstein Monster in the low-budget horror movie Dracula vs. Frankenstein (he remains the tallest actor to ever portray the character), and the unfortunate recipient in The Incredible 2-Headed Transplant .

Londoner John Bloom was born on September 12th 1935, the younger brother of the actress Claire Bloom. He began his film career as a script reader in the story department at Pinewood studios but became interested in film editing, starting out as assistant to John Trumper on Heart of a Child (1958) .
