Marlies Göhr, de soltera Oelsner - (21 de marzo de 1958 en Gera, Alemania Oriental). Atleta alemana especialista en pruebas de velocidad que ganó cuatro medallas olímpicas y batió en dos ocasiones el récord mundial de los 100 metros lisos , una en 1977 (10,88 s) y otra en 1983 (10,81 s).
Marlies Göhr (née Oelsner, born 21 March 1958 in Gera) is a former East German track and field athlete, the winner of the 100 metres at the inaugural World Championships in 1983. She ranked in the top 10 of the 100 m world rankings for twelve straight years, ranking first in six of those years.

23 de ene. de 2021 · 1977 July 1 - GDR Championships, Dresden On 1st July 1977 Marlies Oelsner (Göhr) became the first woman to run the 100m in under 11 seconds during the GDR national championships in Dresden.
Biography. After the 1976 Olympics, where she won a gold with the GDR 4×100 relay, Marlies Oelsner married footballer Ulrich Göhr, and started in 1980 and 1988 as Marlies Göhr, not competing in 1984, because of the Soviet-led boycott. In 1980 she lost the final over 100 metres only by a controversial finish line judges’ decision about 100 meters.
