Francis "Frank" Arthur Sedgman AO (born 29 October 1927) is an Australian former world No. 1 tennis player. Over the course of a three-decade career, Sedgman won five Grand Slam singles tournaments as an amateur as well as 22 Grand Slam doubles tournaments.

Biography. In celebration of his 80 th birthday in 2007, legendary Australian player Frank Sedgman was thrown a gala birthday party, attended by 400 guests. There was one surprise: legendary Jack Kramer flew in from Los Angeles to take part in the festivities.
Frank Sedgman was a tennis legend who won 22 major titles, including Wimbledon and US Open singles, doubles and mixed doubles. He also played Davis Cup for Australia and was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
