Tony Mundine was a Middleweight contender during the 1970s, and was stopped in the 7th round of an unsuccessful bid for Carlos Monzon's World Middleweight title. During his career, Mundine held Australian national titles in the Middleweight, Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight divisions.
