Playing career. 1960–1982. David Michael Keon (born March 22, 1940) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. He played professionally from 1960 to 1982, including 15 seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1986.

Status Retired. Highlights. Son: Tim Keon | Granddaughter: Kaitlyn Keon. As a rookie, Keon emerged as one of Toronto's top players, winning the Calder Trophy with 20 goals and 25 assists. The 5'9 center helped the Leafs win 3 straight Stanley Cups from 1962-64, as well as a 4th Cup in 1967 when he won the Conn Smythe.
