Jonathan Bryan Toews OM (/ ˈ t eɪ v z / TAYVZ born April 29, 1988) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is an unrestricted free agent. Toews most recently played for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL), where he served as the team's captain between 2008 and 2023.
