Biografía. Bellu, junto a Mariana Bitang, ha dirigido el equipo rumano de gimnasia artística durante dos periodos, entre 1990 y 2005 y desde 2010 hasta mayo de 2012. Liderada por Octavian Bellu el equipo nacional de Rumania ganó cinco títulos mundiales y dos olímpicos.
Octavian Ioan Atanase Bellu (Romanian pronunciation: [oktaviˈan ˈbelu]; born 17 February 1951) is the current head of the Romanian national women's artistic gymnastics team. He was the main coach, with interruptions, from 1990 to 2005 [1] and returned as head of the national team in 2010.
