A young girl’s destiny is with a sword. Three mighty warriors, Deok Gi (Lee Byung Hun), Seol Rang (Jeon Do Yeon) and Poong Chun (Bae Soo Bin), lead an uprising to fight for freedom from an incompetent king. But at the last minute, Deok Gi betrays them, leading to Poong Chun’s death.
During Korea’s Goryeo dynasty, a group of warriors is betrayed by one of their own during a violent uprising that leaves one of their greatest fighters dead. Over the next eighteen years, a blind swordswoman trains the fallen soldier’s daughter in the art of the sword so she may avenge his death.
