Raining in the Mountain (Chinese: 空山靈雨) is a 1979 film written and directed by King Hu. The film was selected as the Hong Kong entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 52nd Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.

An aged abbot ( Sun Han) has summoned officials and benefactors to the Temple of Three Treasures to help pick his successor.
