Supersilent is a Norwegian avant-garde-improvisational music group formed at Nattjazz in Bergen in 1997. The trio Veslefrekk was asked to play with electronic musician Helge "Deathprod" Stein. The fusion of the experimental jazz group with Sten's rumbling drones and noise was so successful that they united as Supersilent.

Supersilent are Trumpeter Arve Henriksen, tape experimenter Helge Sten (aka Deathprod), and Ståle Storløkken on keyboards. Until 2009, Jarle Vespestad on drums was part of the band as well. Formed by ex-members of Veslefrekk.
Norwegian death-free jazz-electronic band Supersilent began as an impromptu jam at the 1997 Bergen Jazz Festival between master trumpeter Arve Henriksen, tape experimenter Helge Sten (who also goes as Deathprod for solo material), Jarle Vespestad on drums, and Stale Storløkken on keyboards.
