Iain Burnside is a Scottish classical pianist and accompanist, and a former presenter on BBC Radio 3. Following study at Merton College, Oxford, the Royal Academy of Music and the Chopin Academy, in Warsaw he became a freelance pianist, specialising particularly in song repertoire.

At Leeds Town Hall, in this Leeds Lieder 2021 Festival lunchtime recital, Romaniw and the pianist Iain Burnside took a more pan-European approach, complementing some of Arion ’s Russian repertoire with songs by Edvard Grieg and Richard Strauss.
