Fischer was a child prodigy. Her debut performance, at age eight, was of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Concerto in C Major.

  6. Annie Fischer was born in Budapest in 1914 and died there in 1995. She made a relatively small number of commercial recordings. The best known are probably the Mozart concertos that make up three of the discs in this wonderful box.
