Carlito Guancing Galvez Jr. (Tagalog pronunciation: [kaɾˈlito ˈɡalvɛs], born December 12, 1962 [citation needed]) is a retired Philippine Army general serving as the Senior Undersecretary and briefly as officer-in-charge of the Department of National Defense since 2023 and Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process since 2018.
Secretary Carlito G. Galvez, Jr. is a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1985. He later received his master’s degree in Project Management at the University of New South Wales (Australia) and also took the Executive Education program at Harvard University and Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
