Lu Muzhen (Chinese: 盧慕貞; 30 July 1867 – 7 September 1952) was the first wife of Chinese revolutionary Sun Yat-sen. Background. Lu Muzhen was born on 30 July 1867. She married Sun in 1885 and bore him a son, Sun Fo, and two daughters, Sun Yan (孫延) and Sun Wan (孫琬).
20 de abr. de 2012 · Showcasing the artefacts of Lu Muzhen, the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum aims to give visitors a deeper understanding of Lu as a typical Chinese wife and mother, whose life centred on her family and who seldom involved herself in Dr Sun's political activities.
At age 20, Sun had an arranged marriage with the fellow villager Lu Muzhen. She bore a son, Sun Fo, and two daughters, Sun Jinyuan (孫金媛) and Sun Jinwan (孫金婉). Sun Fo was the grandfather of Leland Sun, who spent 37 years working in Hollywood as an actor and stuntman.

Located on Rua de Silva Mendes no. 1, the Sun Yat Sen Memorial House was formerly the residential house of Sun Yat Sen’s first wife Lu Muzhen and her family. The house, which was rebuilt in 1933, has three-storeys and a continuous wall surrounding the building.
