Hōjō Ujimasa (北条 氏政, 1538 – August 10, 1590) was the fourth head of the later Hōjō clan, and daimyō of Odawara. Ujimasa succeeded the territory expansion policy from his father, Hojo Ujiyasu, and achieved the biggest territory in the clan's history.

Hōjō Sōun (北條早雲, 1432-1519) Sōun, known initially as Ise Moritoki or Ise Shinkurō Nagauji, was the founder of the Go-Hōjō and was born into a family that had loyally served the Ashikaga shogunate. His origin is somewhat obscure, and he came from a branch family of the Ise who was of Taira lineage.
