Peter Clive Sarnak FRS MAE (born 18 December 1953) is a South African-born mathematician with dual South-African and American nationalities. Sarnak has been a member of the permanent faculty of the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study since 2007.
Peter Sarnak is a mathematician who works on number theory and analysis. He is a professor at Princeton University and a member of the IAS, where he received the Wolf Prize in Mathematics in 2014.
