Stephen Alvin Resnick ( / ˈrɛznɪk /; October 24, 1938 – January 2, 2013) was an American Marxist economist. [2] He was well known for his work (much of it written together with Richard D. Wolff) on Marxian economics, economic methodology, and class analysis.
The book by R. D. Wolff and S. A. Resnick (with the collaboration of Y. M. Madra) examines three different approaches to economics: neoclassical, Keynesian and Marxian. The authors address their book mainly to students, with the intent to show them that there exist alternatives to the mainstream approach, which they are taught
