Tony Hunter is a renowned cancer researcher who discovered the role of tyrosine phosphorylation in cell cycle control and cancer. He is the American Cancer Society Professor and the Renato Dulbecco Chair at the Salk Institute, where he leads a team of scientists to find new therapeutic targets for cancers.
