Sara Maria Danius (Täby, 5 de abril de 1962-Estocolmo, 12 de octubre de 2019) fue una crítica literaria y filósofa sueca, y una estudiosa de la literatura y la estética.
Sara Maria Danius (5 April 1962 – 12 October 2019) was a Swedish literary critic and philosopher, and a scholar of literature and aesthetics. Danius was professor of aesthetics at Södertörn University, docent of literature at Uppsala University and professor in literary science at Stockholm University.

Sara Danius was a professor of literature and an eminent essayist. She was a member of the Swedish Academy and its first woman permanent secretary. Sara Danius was born in 1962 in the well-heeled Stockholm suburb of Täby, the daughter of the authors Anna Wahlgren and Lars Danius who was also an officer and a teacher.
