Qualifying for the UEFA Euro 2008 finals tournament took place between August 2006 and November 2007. Fifty teams were divided into seven groups. In a double round-robin system, each team played against each of the others in their group on a home-and-away basis.
The tournament was won by Spain, who defeated Germany 1–0 in the final. Spain were only the second nation to win all their group stage fixtures and then the European Championship itself, matching France's achievement from 1984. Spain were also the first team since Germany in 1996 to win the tournament undefeated.

In Group E of the UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying tournament, Croatia secured qualification to the finals on 17 November 2007 following Israel's 2–1 win against Russia, becoming the seventh team in the whole of the qualification stage to do so.
Euro 2008 Qualifying Draw. The top two teams in each of the seven groups will automatically qualify for the finals. There are no play-offs. Austria and Switzerland automatically qualify as hosts. Euro 2008 kick offs on June 7, 2008 at St Jakob Park Stadium in Basle, Switzerland.
