Forest Gate is a district in the London Borough of Newham, East London, England. It is located 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Charing Cross. The area's name relates to its position adjacent to Wanstead Flats, the southernmost part of Epping Forest.

Website. www .forestgatecst .org. Forest Gate Community School is a coeducational secondary school in Forest Gate, located in the London Borough of Newham, rated Outstanding by Ofsted in February 2020 for the second time. It was first rated Outstanding in 2016.
Forest Gate, Newham. A truly multicultural district, with no single ethnic group constituting a majority, situated east of Stratford. Here was an entrance to Epping Forest, of which the nearby Wanstead Flats are still considered a part.
The Governing Body of our school has formally agreed to adopt the London Borough of Newham’s Admission Arrangements for September 2024 entry. At the Trust Board meeting held on the 9th February 2023, the admissions procedures standing for 2023/24 were approved to stand again for 2024/25.
