HKR Kitzbühel. Downhill. THE STREIF – THE RACECOURSE. It is considered to be one of the most challenging downhill slopes in the world; the Streif. The supreme discipline of alpine ski is held on Mount Hahnenkamm, hot on the heels of the Lauberhorn Races in Wengen, Switzerland – another of the great alpine ski classics.
The classic Hahnenkamm downhill follows the next day. The legendary slalom on the Ganslern slope takes place on January 26. Tickets are only available in advance, there is no sale on site. Children - 2011 and younger - have free entry, a youth ticket costs EUR 15.00 and an adult ticket is available starting from EUR 30.00.

Streif is a World Cup downhill ski course in Austria, located on Hahnenkamm mountain (Kitzbühel Alps) in Kitzbühel, Tyrol, and has hosted the Hahnenkamm Races since 1937. It runs on natural terrain (pasture in summer) with minor modifications done over the years, adjacent to the " Ganslern " slalom course.
